I recently heard about this new cafe opening up in the Corktown area of Detroit, and that it was going to be a great brunch spot, and guess what... it sure was! It's a cozy place that can seat up to 24 folks. The attention to details was spot on. They're menu offers gluten free, vegan, and dairy free options- which speaks to all walks of life. They are offering some local Michigan brands under their roof-  Reilly Craft Creamery, Sister pie, Zingermans just to name a few.

I choose to sit at one of the community tables, where  I was able to chat and meet new folks!

I tried a few items- pictured above is a classic latte, Greek yogurt bowl with lavender lime caviar- not real fish eggs! Topped off with chopped apricots, toasted coconut and with sprigs of lavender.

in addition to the yogurt bowl, I choose a gluten free waffle with a pistachio honey butter and topped it off with Killer Bees ice cream! Let's say the ice cream is a total game changer for your waffle!
